Initial Fertility Consultation & Diagnostics
What to Expect at Your First Visit
After careful consideration and preparation, it is time to begin planning for your family. When you choose to work with RMACT, the first step is a fertility consultation with one of our physicians. Dr. Spencer Richlin, who has over 15 years of experience of working with single women interested in motherhood, is the lead reproductive endocrinologist who works with the Third Party Reproduction Team and single women.
During the initial fertility consultation you will share your medical and family history, as well as start diagnostic testing, which will include a physical examination, blood work and transvaginal ultrasound. Collectively, these tests indicate the reproductive health of a woman and helps the patient and her physician develop an individualized fertility treatment plan.
Diagnostic testing typically includes Day 3 Blood Work, Day 21 blood Testing, Transvaginal Ultrasound, Sonohysterogram (SHG) and/or Hysterosalppingogram (HSG), Basal Antral Follicle Count, and Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH).
